Beth Walton, the owner, shared her experience, emphasizing the disruption the break-in caused. "It's had a huge impact. We had to spend time cleaning up, which set us back a couple of days in our trading. We simply couldn't open until the mess was sorted."
Lock House Antiques, a relatively new business, has been operating for almost three years and has a sister site in Badby, Northamptonshire. The owners, after being notified of the break-in, spent the night at the site in freezing temperatures, unable to secure the damaged door until daylight.
