A person has been detained in connection to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of US news anchor Savannah Guthrie, US media report. Guthrie, 84, disappeared more than a week ago from her home in Arizona. Authorities believe she was taken against her will, and her family has repeatedly appealed for her return. The FBI is offering a $50,000 (£36,000) reward for information in the case. The person was detained during a traffic stop south of Tucson, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s office.
