In contrast, car parks in Chippenham and Salisbury presently have hourly rates ranging from 70 pence to £1.25, with daily parking costing between £6.60 and £9. All-day parking on Sundays is priced at either £1.40 or £1.90, depending on the exact location. The new tariff proposals suggest increasing the hourly parking fees to a range of 90 pence to £2, with all-day parking potentially rising to between £7.10 and £11.70, applying weekday rates to Sundays.
